Agreed. Sure, maybe the hardware is simply a Panasonic system branded by HK or Fender, but it’s still tuned by them for a distinct soundstage. And the really expensive systems, like B&W in Volvo’s, is developed ground-up and baked into the car’s structure/platform for optimal sound.

I don’t think that orange one has a red interior; looks black inside. The red interior photo looks like it’s from a silver 3rd car not pictured

Yes. He is also responsible for crosswalk duty for all public schools. The kids have been waiting to cross for weeks now! Bad optics!

Whoever has been responsible for RR’s rear end designs lately needs a pay raise

Is it the first Lidar in the states? Unless it’s coming out within the next 6 months I think Volvo will be the first with the new XC90 (or whatever they end up calling it)

I think its biggest competitor, mainly due to the absurdity factor, will be the Hummer. The more affordable model of the Hummer isn’t another 2-3 years out so there may be some chance the Tesla won’t be a complete bust. Outside of the Hummer, I really don’t see why anyone would want to daily drive a polygon tank

I wonder how American built Teslas compare to European and Chinese built Teslas. I recall reading that the Chinese quality is superior. Been reading/watching a lot of Chinese EV reviews and China’s quality as a whole seems to be getting close to mainstream competitors; only a matter of time before BYD/NIO/Xpeng

Wait, why aren’t they expanding on the cute E styling??

The irony of a Trump-backed “America-First” company crumbling and being bought out by China makes me very happy

I guess all baby blue, long, low, three-row wagons with short overhangs look the same....

Am I crazy for thinking the Volvo Recharge Concept was inspired by a 90's Nissan ...?

Do ya’ll think this will depreciate as fast as the original i3? I wouldn’t be opposed to a 5 year old iX for $20k... throw on a hood bra to hide the nose and call it a day.

I’m skeptical GM can deliver this on schedule considering the chip shortage and the dozen other EVs in their pipeline. Hell, even the Escalade is removing Super Cruise this model year due to the shortage.

Besides the SVX and the color blue/gold, since when has Subaru ever been known for its designs?

To be fair, it looks really good doing it... which is all that matters, right?

😪😪

Say what you will about modern safety regulations making cars bigger and heavier, but you can’t deny how impressive it is for a car to roll nearly 30 stories down a hill and still have the passenger compartment intact.

The only adult still suitable to play a teen is Michael Cera

If the answer isn’t Miata, then it’s Baja.
