I wouldn’t have recast him for season 6; just write Alex out of the story for season 6. He’s not an important character in Babylon’s Ashes. As other suggested, perhaps Alex decided to go home to Mars to reconnect with his family and is still there during season 6.

Then, if they find away to adapt books 7-9 down the

I wrote Thrawn “was” never going to come back, not didn’t :)

I enjoy how Dave Filoni has mined both Legends, as well as unused concept art to continue to world build (I mean, the Lasat are the original Wookie design).

Given the Ahsoka show coming, and speculation from Dave himself that the scene at the end of Rebels

I love it when a plan comes together.

In Filoni We Trust!

I think it looks better than the reboot (not difficult, granted) but it’s hard to get a real feel for it because the trailer so far was very much of the “reveal as little as possible.”

Literally the first thing I watched when Disney+ went live. This movie is a treasure and was watched dozens of times by my family. I may have been caught once or twice chanting “Treguna Mekoides and Trecorum Satis Dee” at my closet...

I’m going to preface this by saying I’m not trying to change your mind about this element of the story. This is meant as an explanation of what I, as one viewer, am seeing in this choice. Whether it’s worth it or effective in its execution or any other consideration YMMV.

I assume the Darksaber can’t cut through Beskar because it’s a lightsaber

I assume the Darksaber can’t cut through Beskar because it’s a lightsaber, and it’s been established that lightsabers in general can’t cut through Beskar. We see this specifically when Ahsoka battles Din and he’s able to fend off her lightsaber with his gauntlets.

So much wrong here. A shocking amount, really.

I was expecting the article to point out that Gates is awful at portraying the greedy heartless capitalist that all billionaires are supposed to be. He has instead — in later years anyway — devoted himself full-time to serious and well-researched charitable works that genuinely help people instead of building

How about writing another column comparing billionaires’ relative efforts to give back (“charitably”) to the community which helped establish them? (call it the anti-ayn_rand score) In such a column i think you’d find that Gates quickly rises close to the top among such other low bars billionaires.

I think you nailed it in your last sentence.  Filoni appears to be a pretty good influence.

The pink diamond in the first film was named the Pink Panther, hence the title. The following films just used the name to maintain series continuity.

And “Hile Gunslinger, Long Days And Pleasant Nights” to you, as well!

Given the fact that the MAGA-caps are bright red, coupled with the murders they have enabled and the mayhem they have fomented, the parallel between “redcaps” and “MAGAcaps” seemed painfully literal.

As far as my “WoT handle” goes, I feel obliged to point out that Robert Jordan started writing WoT in 1984... roughly 13
