This is great news! For some reason I’ve always found Planescape: Torment much harder to get running than I have the original Baldur’s Gate games, so this Enhanced Edition is far more of a necessary purchase for me.

About time that THE BEST GAME EVER MADE finally gets a headache-free way to play it on modern machines.
The Witness has been illegally downloaded by thousands of people since it was released last month, but did you know…
This kills it
Because not everybody gets easy access to games, not even when steam and other services are in place. I live in venezuela, the only way i’m able to buy games is by participating in the steam market, and it’s hard to always have money to buy a 20dollar game. If i, wanted a brand new game using my hard earned money, it…
...I don’t get it. These days, thanks to digital distribution, PC games go on 75%+ sale all the freaking time, just a few months after release, and you get automatic patches and updates.
Honestly I always felt it said a lot more about Quesada’s real opinion about marriage than the Marvel Brass.
Funny. I’m a woman and I USED to read Spider-Man because it was the one comic that acknowledged women have an important, primary place in men’s emotional lives. Not just Mary Jane, but also Aunt May. Even more so because they were two normal, unpowered people who had their own lives, but by sharing them with Peter…
You’re being short-sighted. “Development” and “selling copies” are not mutually exclusive. Often the best-selling issues of a comic are also ones that have copious amounts of the best character development. In fact, a great deal of beloved storylines were started as gimmicks.
I’ll tell you, you won’t “out nerd” me on comic book history or lore. I’m a comic book writer myself, so nobody digs into this stuff deeper than I do (and I have to know my continuity otherwise I get in trouble when writing books).
Some of those never actually happened past the conceptual stage.
It’s not that it’s a retcon, that doesn’t bug me... It’s that it’s a lazy one.
Cool, I’ll look into that time period. Revisiting something you hated when you were a kid but actually like when you grow up is one of the great joys of comics. Fingers crossed that happens here.
Silk is a fun character in her solo series. I think it’s fun but also manages to show how much it’d suck to be locked away for that many years, especially since she’s looking for her family.
SSM is a terrible story because it treats everyone in the Marvel Universe like they’re huffing paint. There is no logical way SpOck would have lasted more then a month without the Avengers figuring out he wasn’t Peter. Also, I don’t sympathize with rapists (He committed Rape by fraud when he had sex with Anna Maria).
Three Words: Superior Spider-Dad
I will never understand people’s love for that train wreck that was Superior Spider-man. It was a damn mess in every conceivable way. And in the end, it boiled down to “lol lol Peter was the Superior Spider-man after all!!” I’m just glad that garbage is over and I can’t wait for Slott to be outta there.
Being from that same generation, you owe it to yourself to read most of J Michael Straczynski’s run on Amazing Spider-Man. If John Romita, Jr. is the artist, it’s awesome. Skip the Deodato arcs; One More Day aside, everything else was decent.
Why must all comics I’m reading now target my softened parental core that makes my eyes leak
