GM _has_ high-zoot sedans (Pontiac GTO, Impala SS). The design envelope of a Corvette couldn't be made to fit a back seat and a second set of doors.

This car belongs. It ALSO has soul. A _german_ soul. Top Gear showed a low flying batmobile of a thing that didn't _sound_ like a car, didn't _accelerate_ like a car, and didn't _behave_ like a car.

I hated the corporate nose on the 06/07 Imprezas...looks like they were the beginning of a trend. Sure am glad I bought that 05 STi last week.
