And maybe the blue car was going slower than Stewart and could more easily do so. And maybe the blue car was farther down the track already. And maybe the blue car blocked Stewart's view of Ward. And maybe... And maybe... What's KNOWN here is that WARD road raged on foot on a live track and started the whole

BUT OTHER THAN THAT...

Bullshit, he never turned right! I don't what video you saw... Stewart has less of a history of being a dick than a ton of drivers. It's not like he's a Busch brother.

And your proof that Stewart was an "aggressive, arrogant dick" is WHAT, exactly? Learn how sprint cars drive and turn and you'll figure out he wasn't accelerating to hit the dumb kid, he was trying to turn the car down and to the left.

You know WHY Ward is sitting out? He got out of his goddamn sprint car all pissed off and approached other sprint cars on a hot track.

You literally have no clue what you're talking about.

I want to star this TEN TIMES.

Good answer and spoken like an attorney...? My response mirrored yours (and I'm an attorney).

Whether Tony saw him or not is irrelevant, the fact is that as a racer it is HIS JOB to be consciously aware of all track conditions...

Thanks, I'll check it out if I can find it. I have a Google+ account, but have never done anything on there.

After this, I bet that rule gets passed in ALL the major bodies of racing in the off season. I don't think a lifetime ban would be appropriate punishment but, rather, a serious suspension and fine. Miss a couple races in NASCAR and see how much it kills your season (and, in turn, pisses off sponsors).

Placing blame doesn't "punish" him. He's dead and nothing can change that. From what I've seen and read (especially some insightful comments about how sprint cars steer), I think he's far and away the one that caused his own demise.

Oh, that sucks. I come here more for the news/posts than comments. Commenting used to be a lot more fun. I don't recognize anyone on here anymore.

Thanks. Miss seeing your posts around here, jodark (not that I post a lot). Jalop is not like it was a few years ago.

Nothing I wrote can be debated, as far as I'm concerned. He set things into motion himself. Don't step out onto a hot track and in front of a sprint car.

But Ward is the guy who got out if his car and decided to confront Tony on a slick dirt track. And do so by stepping in front of, or nearly in front of, his car. He'd be alive today if he'd kept his ass in his car.

No, he (or his PR people) had to say something. This us just that. To say absolutely nothing makes him look like an asshole. And Ward pretty much killed himself by stepping out onto a hot track like that and damn near in front of Tony.

"Buggies"?
