We need to end private prisons and the prison-industry complex.

I remember those times when piracy almost disappeared thanks to streaming services but now we have so many of those that is going to be more expensive than cable so who knows maybe piracy will rise again.

They couldn’t protect a student, but they can spend $60K on pr.  I hope the family bankrupts the school.  

I feel like the take away from all of this is maybe you shouldn’t go on TV claiming to be 100% innocent and 100% exonerated when that’s not actually what’s happened. Especially when the Chicago PD has a hard on about this case and you were dicking them around for weeks.

Chicago has one of the worst police departments in the United States. They are fixating on this because they think it makes them look good. 

He kept the rope around his neck because he “just wanted you to see”. I had to stop working and let that sink in for a couple of minutes. This is biblical levels of stupidity in action. He fucked himself by making a police report. He could have just been uncooperative and panicked when police came so they would think something happened. And hoped itd get to the press. Press picks shit up without a second thought. It has to get to cartoon levels of absurdity before even the more liberal press begins…

He’s doing the ol’ “no one cares about male rape so I get to not be sensitive to female rape” switcheroo, more commonly known as the “if you mention one thing in an article, you have to mention ALL things or else you don’t care about them.”

I think that’s a ridiculous assumption to make. There was a huge amount of outcry over the rape and gratuitous violence in GoT. It got the nickname Rape of Thrones, which it richly deserved.

Thank God for movies because otherwise we'd have no idea that rape was ever a problem.

See, even if it is against the rules for passengers to eat on the train, I’d just assume that the employee would have dispensation as they are on the darned things all day...and mind my own business.
