It’s not the best analogy, but this is what I immediately thought of:
It’s not the best analogy, but this is what I immediately thought of:
“If these books taught you that love is the strongest force in the universe, capable of overcoming anything; if they taught you that strength is found in diversity, and that dogmatic ideas of pureness lead to the oppression of vulnerable groups; if you believe that a particular character is trans, nonbinary, or…
(Justifiably so)
A little reminiscent of those big, cheap CD Rom bundles you used to be able to buy in shops. Always fun to see what weird shit they contained, and there’d be the occasional gem.
I feel like having that many games in the bundle takes away it’s value. I’m sure all 700 games are made by super smart hard working people, but they must also mostly be terrible right?
Seeing the Punisher skull anywhere outside of a comic or movie makes my skin crawl, but ironically Garth Ennis’s run on the character (especially the MAX stuff) is one of the best comics I’ve ever read. Taken as a whole it’s an incredibly deep character study examining first how a senseless war can shape a man’s…
The comic didn’t work because 99.99% of the dipshit cops using the Punisher logo have never read a Punisher comic in their lives.
Anyone who wants to abolish cops is an idiot. What people want is cops who protect and serve rather than punish and enslave..... and for all humans to be served and protected equally. This notion that protesters against cops must want no cops is absurd, and you know it.
I have no idea if that’s actually true, but that’s a very on-point take on the T-1000.
Gotta love that a Danish toy company has a better response than most US companies.
A children’s toy company is harder on police and stronger advocate for equality than the current US president and government.
I wonder if it comes with a bunker, too?
Well, the lights aren’t on in the LEGO White House, so that’s a very accurate representation.
The Snyder Cut version of Justice League is the “used” gym sock kept under a teenage boy’s bed of cinema. I hope to god they spend ALL the money on this thing and that it fails spectacularly, again. It deserves nothing less.
The thing is, the guys demanding the Snyder cut LOVE MoS and BvS as if they were mana from heaven. I have seen too many people to count that follow Snyder say without a hint of sarcasm that his version of Superman in MoS is exactly the version they’ve wanted their entire lives. That he understood the character better…
There is one thing I don’t get about The Snyder Cut as a movement. Previous Snyder movies (Man of Steel and Martha v Mart... I mean, Batman v Superman) were met with all sorts of critiques by the fandom, as in “Oh no, Superman is a murderer” or “I can’t hear the name Martha anymore, WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME!”... and…
Louise Jameson is to this day in a three-way tie for my favorite companion.
Tom Baker is the definitive Dr. Who. It’s official; please comport your attitudes and actions accordingly. 66, out.
The Android Invasion version of Abraham Lincoln makes some good points!
Tom Baker is an absolute treasure. His affably crazy energy is just infectious.
