Are these despecialized, or are you a liar?

Did I hurt the pretend sport liking boy’s feels?
Why do they call them matches instead of scripted gymnastics exhibitions?
I wonder if his time driving/bussing it to best buy, waiting in line, buying it, making the ad, packaging it, going down to the post office to ship it...only to make an $80 profit makes any sense. Because that’s what he’s bragging about... and that’s kinda SAD.
The show is really good! And it shares a lot with Bojack. So imagine if a bunch of men went around saying “I’m proud to be like Bojack!” and quizzing women about Horsin’ Around episode titles and sending death threats to Lisa Hanawalt. You’d probably be really mad at those men!
How did noted “comedian” Topher Grace manage to get 84k followers on Twitter?
Yeah same here. It was either leave the city and spend an hour or more each way commuting or buying my property in a HOA community in the city, and it takes me 20 minutes to get to work. I prefer the extra time at home in the evening or morning.
You clearly do not live in California. They are everywhere.
Yes - pretty much every new housing development gets an HoA made for it by the builders, from what I’ve seen. About the only thing you can do if you want a remotely new home in most places is to have it built to order on land you’ve already purchased, which isn’t exactly cheap.
imagine all the terrible things your actions are inadvertently leading to.
Sometimes there isn’t much of a choice, though. They’re easy enough to avoid in more rural towns, but bigger urban areas with lots of sprawl? You’re gonna have a beast of a time finding the house you want that you can afford and otherwise plausibly live with outside of an HOA.
And with this comment the merger with the Jezebel commentariat is complete. May god have mercy on our souls (but apparently not Hugh’s).
You’re an idiot. The man was standing up for progressive causes like access to safe abortions and being the first American publisher to showcase authors like Gabriel Garcia Marquez before you were born. He was a pioneer and a rebel, and we could use more like him
If “Look Who’s Purging Now” is your floor, that’s pretty impressive.
The Dead Zone, Carrie, Firestarter, The Shining....those were all fantastic endings. Pet Sematary may be his greatest ending ever. I’d also give some love to the Dark Half. There have been plenty of bad ones, but I do think there are more good endings than bad....the bad ones tend to really stand out as they seem to…
“Let’s be honest: Stephen King is better at beginnings than endings.” That’s one way of putting it. Another way is that the man is absolutely atrocious at endings. Considering his output, I’d say his success rate for dramatically or emotionally satisfying conclusions runs about 5%. The rule seems to be that the longer…
King’s a great writer, but the quality is paragraph-by-paragraph. There was no need for It to be a thousand plus pages, for sure.
I thank the film gods that IT removed so much of King’s rambling bullshit in its movie adaptation. To see IT synthesized into its best essence was amazing, and is arguably the greatest novel-adaptation ever. Sorry the 2 chapters about “why the bully farted” didn’t make the cut (note: this is actually in the book.)
