We’re addicts, and Disney/LFL knows it.

The problem with the prequel trilogy is that George was confused and thought they should be Anakin’s story. When really they should have been Obi-Wan’s. Don’t get me wrong Anakin plays and should play a big part but he is not the hero. That and there was no one to be an editor for Lucas and tell him some of that shit

I will totally agree with you on your opinon about the EU. I will however disagree and say all of the prequels were objectively bad. Insultingly so. Not for continuity issues, but because they’re just terrible movies by a writer/producer/director who hasn’t had a good idea since Last Crusade

Zahn, Stackpole, and a few others put out some great EU books. But for the most part the old EU was standard schlock that sold because of the Star Wars name, and some books like The Crystal Star were absolutely wretched.

ahem........

George Lucas built a sandbox. That’s all.

Having just read the Thrawn trilogy for the first time and then read snippets of Aftermath I am feeling completely let down. Aftermath is just... so bad. How did it ever clear for publishing?

My issue is that the integrity of worldbuilding relies on the integrity of supporting said worldbuilding.

So basically what you’re saying is this.

Not to mention awesome games/characters like Shadows of the Empire/Dash Rendar and the Jedi Knight Series/Kyle Katarn that we’ll probably never see again.

Thank you. I’m firmly of the camp that there was no need to do a full-on “reboot” and they could have simply overwritten the post-Endor era for their new stuffs.

Colbert was in the Hobbit. I think it’s the second one, he’s a guard in Laketown, walks by the mayor.

I honestly feel horrible for this guy. He seems like a nice guy, but with all this attention on his game he has impossible standards to live up to. Not only that, but unlike games from EA or Rockstar, HIS face is the one associated with it, and his company. He doesn’t look comfortable at all doing these types of

Those fifteen are going to ten hours of me going ‘...woah.’ and five hours of me going ‘...ok what now?’

No Mans Sky is sort of this generations Spore. Which makes me wonder why anyone who remembers the insane hype and then UTTER paning of Spore could possibly be hyped by this new version.

That goes for pretty much 85% of games today

If this game fails the amount to hate he’s going to get will make Peter Molyneux and Spore look like the best things to happen to gaming.

No Man’s Sky is going to be that game I buy at launch, play for 15 hours and then never touch again.

I think it’s okay to do this sometimes.

It’s rude to tell me how to eat my pizza.
