@tsdexter: Is Android the only smartphone on VZW network? Are smartphones the only handsets using data?

@luke.timothy: Me-ow! Take it easy Union Jack. Just a little ribbing from a colonist. No reason get your knickers in a twist. I'm not English, and I don't write the dictionaries over here.

@CrimsonKnight: That tablet is the definition of "still to be seen". I would love to see it drop too, but I would not let that dangling carrot keep me from buying something else.

@FriarNurgle: True, but I have so many cables already that it looks like the spaghetti monster lives back there.

This story makes me so happy, I will be moving my Roku box back into the living room when this goes live (currently the Wii is being used for Netflix in the LR with the Roku collecting dust in the BR).

@theotherwhiteboy: I have a feeling a Plus subscription will be required, which is total ass-fuckery. I will have a hard time not subscribing though. Hulu and Netflix on my Roku for $20 a month is hard to pass up.

@FriarNurgle: Assuming your computer and TV support one another, yes. My computer and TV are pretty old, so not an option for me.

I've thought long and hard about this story. I've come to the conclusion that there's really no reason for me to give a shit.

@dallasmay: I see your point, and you're right the iPhone has some real competition out there, but going to other carrier will only strengthen Apples position in the long run IMO.

@RuckingFetard: Individually they don't sell as much as the iPhone, put them all together and you'll probably see a different picture.

Some of the "No"s on the Roku XDS column need an asterisk.

@RuckingFetard: Assuming an iPhone would bring VZW network to it's knees is a huge assumption. VZW has a lot of data-sucking smartphones on their network now and we are not hearing anything about problems.

@dallasmay: Apple makes a metric ass-ton of cash from the app store. More carriers and more customers equals more apps sold.

@luke.timothy: Yeah, but you spell color with a "u", so how can we trust your opinion? :P

@RobertK81: I'm not saying the iPad display is neccessarily too big, just that from a portability standpoint, 7" seems like a good compromise to me.

@Michael Scrip: You keep harping on the fact that the screens are smaller, but I actually think this is a good thing. I think 7" is the sweet spot for a tablet if it's a good display.

@djalice: Have fun eating those brains cyber-zombie, I'm perfectly content to move on when it's my time.
