Well, aren’t you just a goddamn ray of sunshine.

Its so hard being the thinking feeling adult in the room going “hey, I’m going to talk to that person that disagrees with me and maybe we can reach a compromise! we all want whats best for this country after all!” and continue to compromise until you realize you are actually dealing with spoiled brats in suits that

Sotomayor’s dissent earlier this week, now this. Have we FINALLY reached a point where liberals will start standing firm for progressive issues again, rather than kowtowing to the Republican establishment EVERY SINGLE TIME?

Holy shit. People maybe aren’t backing down this time. I know the Senate vote got scuttled but this gives me hope that we won’t let this stand this time around.

Watched the video and thought to myself how strange it is that you could tell someone is a blithering idiot just by the back of their head.

Progressives always get disappointed with their darling after a few years. Whether or not there’s a good reason is beside the point.

I almost wish she wouldn't pull someone from the Senate, though (I feel the same way about Warren). I know Repubs are pushing hard for those races (because, let's be honest, their POTUS race is a sham) and I don't want to lose any seats that are filled by decent people. That said, Booker would be a very good VP

I think he has pretty thoroughly offended most progressives by now.

She is running against a well established racist.

I’m not a huge fan of the Warren idea. I think she’ll do more good in the senate.

I tend to agree with Barney Frank (I think he said it?). Any senator/congressperson with a Republican governor needs to stay put for now. The seats are too important.

I live in Texas. The republican women I know mostly don’t work, don’t want to work, and love the lord. It’s not hard for them to reconcile at all.

Yeah, the “struggles” of privileged as shit, rich-ass women like her. The thing is, money does a helluva job insulating people from real problems and hardships that others face. People like this think, “Well I’m fine. I did it. I’m successful. I never had that problem, so it can’t be real and if anyone is complaining

You should meet my wife.

It’s almost like she’s a rich, white feminist...

The pro-Trump feminist also seems to fail to realize that Muslim women and undocumented women are also women. Fiorina’s feminism seems to concern itself with the struggles of a very select group of women (and even so it’s hard to see how she can support Trump).

So now conservatives are trying to appropriate feminism? I guess it’s less offensive than when they try to take credit for ending slavery and passing Civil Rights?

I would imagine that being a female Republican would require a great deal of talk therapy in order to reconcile...it.

“It’s fine to talk about how it is hard to be a Republican and a woman—it certainly is.”

Yo, Carly, you are not a feminist because you think those people from the “Center for Medical Progress” were for real.
