Cassie is actually pretty great. I don't follow her meal plan but I LOVE her workout videos on YouTube. She just smiles and stays positive while kicking your ass.
Yeah, I know it can be drying to hair and maybe even a skin irritant to some people (like many other relatively innocuous ingredients), but SLS is hardly something to sue over. Or hide for that matter.
Exactly. Thank you. All the top comments on this article (and many similar articles having to do with a celebrity) seem to be willfully missing the point.
The celebrity worship here can get seriously nauseating. Apparently it’s okay to use feminism and to distort feminist concepts to excuse bad behaviour.
You’re just jealous because she’s not like other girls. She’s cool, like one of the guys. She can say this stuff because she knows that people like Donald Trump would NEVER EVER say anything like this about her.
Seasickness is so awful I would only wish it on Donald Trump.
No, right. I’ve given up on ever being able to accomplish a French braid though.
My arms get tired from two braids on either side of my head so I’m actually really impressed with these styles. Not so sure about the effort to reward ratio, but they look neat.
I was about to say this. a “reverse French braid” is just a dutch braid. It’s the only way I can plait my hair because I tried to regular French braid and my hands/brain won’t cooperate.
Very well said. Sometimes I read the comments about the Kardashians on this site and I have to wonder if there’s a gas leak that’s causing all these short term memories. I’m not about to “respect her hustle” when that hustle plays right into the same misogynistic culture that we’re supposed to be against.
Yeah it’s hard for my to read this open letter and feel good about it in context.
“ I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body?”
That's what I was thinking. This summer alone people were foaming at the mouth in defense of Paula Dean. And people even donated money to go towards George Zimmerman's legal fees! I have no doubt that she'll be back on her feet in no time. And that she'll try to parlay this into a famewhore opportunity.
Yeah. I've been to some clubs that have been, let's face it, predominantly white, and you just can't let yourself have fun with abandon in those spaces. There's always some douchebag fratbro who doesn't know how to act. One of them offered me money once when the DJ started playing dancehall music (I'm Jamaican; I…
Yeah! Why do we even have terminology anyway? You know? Why can't everything action just go by it's description?
YAAAAASSSSSSS!! That's my favorite part, is that everyone is participating, even the guys, so it's more of a competitive, fun vibe than a groping opportunity. If you're not here for twerking get yo ass out the club.
Girlfriends was SO good. Toni Childs was amazing, and I loved when they would just sit around and talk. Such an underrated show.
The best way to fuck up a video.
She's not very good at her own profession; no need to be inexplicably popular in another.
