I don't quite know what to say. I can say whole-heartedly that twitter is definitely NOT my social network. Both facebook and buzz have the same functionality (and a ton more) as twitter, without half of the spam, junk, and useless ambition of getting half a zillion followers.
@Tams80: Ha. I hate how things can end up sounding messed up.
@jbashara: Which is really all that matters...
@rospaya: "Only about 10 million dollars difference."
The one thing OpenOffice really, really needs is a GUI makeover. In features, it comes pretty close to Office 2010 (at least in features people actually use...), but it looks terrible. And I hate using software that looks terrible.
@williamk: Nope, it doesn't make one little sound.
Am using the 10.5 Alpha as I type this. To be blatant, I cannot tell that this is one stinkin' bit faster than Chrome. If anything, it's slower.

When I used Ubuntu for a couple weeks awhile ago, Gnome Do was one of the few apps that kept me going, and I only used it on the theme Docky.
Who'da thunk it would've taken this long for someone to hack this?
VOTE: CCleaner
I'm sure glad Gnome DO is on there! I went on a only-Ubuntu spree a couple months ago (I'm on 7 now...), and I would've have survived without DO. Great piece of software.
@Callimaco: Yep, except it's slower, less intuitive, and looks uglier.
@nolabar10der: The very fact that you wrote 2 small paragraphs about how FF and Windows is the center of your life proves that the nerd is still existent.
@DiscoZombie: Meh. Sad, isn't it? We can sympathize together.
Looks like even Apple's paving the way for Chrome OS. One of the major reasons I wouldn't use Chrome OS as my primary OS would be the inability to sync my ipod with it. So much for that...
Tryin' it out right now, and it's not impressing me. Borin' old RSS reader that looks clunky. I'm sticking to feedly for now.
Sounds delicious; I'm gonna try it out some time.
@Enginerd: You're right - I wasn't saying the technology is useless, I meant that way too many people waste great technologies like this and don't try incorporating it into real-life usable tools.
