For years the ads gave me the impression that the show was just a vehicle to show bikini clad women in Miami with some spy-craft BS thrown in. USA didn't do it any favors by constantly advertising it which made me think they were desperate for people to watch it. Now I understand why the promos were so terrible...
Asiana is a part of the One World Alliance, correct? If so, is it possible the OWA can be on the hook (read: legitimately* sued) whether the crash was caused by mechanical or pilot error? The OWA will almost definitely be sued, but I'm just curious.

At what point did the Asiana pilot report the incident? I was totally lost until I heard the controller telling the pilot that emergency crews where en route.
