Having only come across Black Cat a few times in the comics, I’m not sure what her appeal is outside of “Marvel’s Catwoman,” regardless of which character was created first.

I think transitioning into X-Men makes a ton of sense, actually, since the actors playing [most of] the Avengers aren’t getting any younger. 

It would be even easier since a big reality/timeline rewrite is bound to happen at the end of “Infinity War II : If Cap doesn’t wield Mjolnir and shout Avengers Assemble, I riot !”.
