My gut tells me that a studio would think that’s too geeky a concept for normal audiences, but they’ve made Ragnarok and talking trees and raccoons and magic space gloves and everyone loves it. So, yeah, that could certainly work. I don’t personally love the concept but it could be done well.

I highly recommend the comics and I never thought I’d buy, let alone truly love, a Darth Vader comic. Both runs are terrific for different reasons. Even Aphra, who doesn’t seem to really belong in SW, manages to work because of Gillen’s writing.
