I guess the mystery is why did Abernathy get reconfigured (he read as a host in season 1) and who did it if he’s been lost in the wild? I feel like they are playing him as “he’s always been different” but he clearly was being treated as a host in Season 1. But this may be a mystery that is solved, something changing

Possible dumb question from something I may have missed: Hosts presumably inherently can tell hosts from guests because of their network connection (whether they realize that or not), but why was Abernathy tied-up and treated like a guest? I guess it’s probably some non-answered super-secret thing like why is Bernard

Good call on people needing to look around for used if they really want them but can’t afford. They are still pricey because they last so long but I know several people who got them off of Craigslist. Some cities also have office furniture resellers that buy off of company stock like that and then sell them used.

I know it’s crazy expensive but they do make quality stuff. It is so choice, if you have the means I highly recommend picking one up.

I’m listening to a Chicago song that came up on shuffle as I write this, so I’m not immune to the charms of horn sections. There’s something about solo sax, though. But there are always exceptions, who am I to challenge the genius of “Baker Street”?

I’ll give it a shot. It just doesn’t do much for me but I need an excuse to listen to Howlin’ Wolf anyway, since I haven’t since college.

I do like lyrics to “The Hook”, Mr. Traveler. Please lower your weapon!

I also dislike the saxophone most of the time and it dismays me how much David Bowie uses it (because he could play it). I mean, I’ll take it and deal with it, but what I’d give for a time machine and some coupons for free violin lessons.

In my mind you’re blowing me... some kisses.

There is a 0% chance that Shuri did not back up Vision. They said there was enough of Vision in him beyond the Stone and while his body is gone I think his mind is definitely sitting in a server in Wakanda. Bank on it.

There is only one Matt Berry worth listening to:

Okay, some other old must also remember Earth Star Voyager, a Disney Sunday Movie from the late 80s about a young crew on a ship because it was going to take so many years to get wherever they were going and back. I bet that’s the same idea here (only one way). Plus, for a kid in the 80s this was a kick ass opening

I have a podcast a lot like Michael Ian Black’s new one (only not with famous people and doing old pulp stories instead of one big book), so if anyone wants to try out the concept look for Interrupted Tales at all the usual places. We do sci-fi, horror, romance, a little bit of everything.

I know The Black Hole is mostly thought of as a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea remake but I’ve always felt it shared some things with Heart of Darkness. The robots, for one.

At least the world got this out of it.

“and so is Chappie.” *slow clap*

Homecoming is great, exactly what a high school Spider-Man movie should be, IMO. Just enough stakes, lots of teen stuff that rings true, Keaton and Tomei are great (the whole cast is), I’d recommend it, especially if one is fatigued by ITSTHEENDOFTHEWORLD! type superhero movies. I also like Ant-Man so maybe we just

I had closed this and had to come back and give you a well-deserved star, you bastard.

I know you’re right for all intents and purposes, it just got me thinking. Villain survives in:

They have drones to build the even-more-secret underground lairs and a big budget to hide the materials being diverted?
