I can't believe they got Harrison Ford to smile. I wasn't sure if we'd get Han or the guy who's been Grumble McGrumpypants in every role for the last 20 years.

I knew they were on-screen, I meant they cut the bit of dialogue about why they can't use them.

I believe a script-cut took out why they can't use the pistols: The odds would be good of decompressing and destroying the ship if they used them.

And now he’s on the Patriot Way to life in prison. Alas...

Email. I went to college from '94-'98 (get off my lawn!) and I don't think I really started using it until '96, well after everyone I knew was already using it. Not having internet connection in the dorms or any of my apartments was certainly part of it, but I just didn't really see the need for way too long.

So I don’t want a really smart watch, I really just want something that has a nice screen that can be easily changed and maybe a few features like pedometer, alarm, etc. I don’t need something that pairs with my phone or gets messages, just a slightly futuristic watch that looks nice and is affordable. It's a shame the filmmakers could have never predicted the Great Bell Pepper Pogrom of 2013. The rivers flowed red and green in those days, my friends.

Oh, god, I don't think the Buccaneers can handle any more boobs on their team.

You've managed something I never thought possible: You got the Dr. Shrinker theme song stuck in my head. I haven't thought about that show since I was a kid...

I think they were kind of stuck with having to do something just to avoid sounding like a CBS show and naming it something like "The Walking Dead: LA".

Last Stand's been on cable a lot recently so I'll flip to it every now and again and my wife thinks Kelsey Grammar as Beast is the funniest thing in the universe. I try to defend Beast and talk about how awesome he is in the comics but just seeing Frasier in blue paint and fur (and a suit and tie) just gives her the

I liked Madrox. That's... something.

Boo, no Paula Patton! I liked her in Ghost Protocol. I'd certainly rather have her back than Ving Rhames, who I didn't really miss last time (the cameo was enough).

"Where's your messiah now?" - Godless Californians

This movie blows.

I second a merged reading, even if it's your first time reading books 4 and 5. It's a MUCH better experience. Do you want to wait an entire book to read about characters you like? Do you want to start book 5 and suddenly realize it's going back in time to right after book 3 and you barely remember that after 4? Trust

I also thought guerrilla marketing, but I was thinking the new Avengers movie.

SPOILERS, I guess, but why would one be reading an article on Avengers 2 if one wasn't on top of such things:

Ditto. I watched the rest after watching Ghost Protocol on cable and they are all weak in certain aspects. The first is dated and boring (although there are a few good scenes, it's pacing is glacial), II is just terrible, and III is okay but suffers from an obviously low budget and workmanlike direction.
