I know—it was the car that made me a fan of Volvo. It just had a crappy interior and poor selection of options.

Cab Over Trucks have all but disappeared from American roads. There are a few older Frieghtliners from the early-90s or so, but you'd be hard pressed to see one a day—even at an interstate truck-stop.

I typically see a Volt everyday to every-other day. However, Iowa is a commuter state. It is common for folks (even in DxMoinx) to have to travel an hour to get to work. An hour's commute doesn't leave much juice left in the Leaf to make it back home if you can't charge it at work. :-\

I preferred the face-lifted K-car.

According the trade-paper Automotive News, Volvo plans to nix the slow selling C30 for 2013. You're going to have to inject the coolness yourself.

A friend of mine (who is a truck driver) actually informed me that Volvo's semis are total utter crap. They are the Chevys of trucking—and not Chevy Camero ZL1...like, 1994 Chevy Corsica, Chevy.

The dude didn't even replace the Pentastar on the grille. That poor Dodge.

The Nissan dealership in DxMoinx is terrible. I won't even drive on the access-road going in front of their lot. I've only seen one Leaf on the road thus far and that was a couple months ago. The Mitsubishi dealer in town said they have no plans to carry the i-MiEV—ever.
