Going on 3 years.

A.) The freshening of the Plymouth Reliant made it quite the handsome car from 1985-1989. I have an '87 Reliant LE coupe which is simply gorgeous. It was a consumer car with a touch of class.

My 1st car was a 1987 Plymouth Reliant LE 2-door coupe. It also happens to be my favorite car I've ever owned. It was a breeze to fix, and BEYOND very reliable. Also, I enjoyed getting nearly 40 miles to the gallon in such a large car compared to today's "compacts".

I considered leasing a Saab 9-5 just for the snot of it, but if they do the pricing nosedive like the truck loads of Saturn Astras did... I might buy one outright in cash in a month.

I might actually cry about this. Saab is a company that DESERVES to be making cars. GM fucked them over—now twice, and they simply deserve BETTER than the 9-4x and bloated blimp of a 9-5. Both are gorgeous cars, but they aren't real Saabs.

You're over 40 if you get this reference...or you watched too much TV Land back when they did retro-mercials.

MY '87 Reliant has been wnning some decent awards, so I think I caught on to something. So...

I just started seeing a navy blue one tootle about my neighborhood two weeks ago. The fender-skirt is rusting along the creases, but it sure isn't all too loud or rickety.

Exact opposite for me—here in Iowa I've seen two 9-4x's on the road, but not a single 9-5 (other than at the dealership—which doesn't count).

The one where you get points for running over animals and children in your 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Cruiser "Grocery Getter". *classic!*

AND...the '82 Maxima offered a diesel.

That is TOTALLY what I thought about this car...granted I had never heard of this Maserati being sold in the states before either.

So you aren't abeliever in "Just the tip"?

That's a really cool looking RV. I want one.

So Dodge is the new Pontiac? 100% bitch-cars being sold with better engines, interiors, & bigger prices at other brands throughout the company...

BINGO!!!

Random moment... I saw a Scion iQ today. I really like that car. I didn't get a chance to sit in it or drive it—but I REALLY like the iQ. I'm just hoping the interior isn't absolute trash, and is customizable. I've been disappointed with car-after-car in the sub- & compact market for the past 5 years (AND I

...AND you beat me to the punch.

You mean Elantra, correct? To me the Veloster isn't the successor to the Tiburon, but instead the Elantra GT hatchback from two years ago.

It could be. You obviously have more experience handling & looking at herpes up-close than I have ever had.
