1TB SSD drives do exist. And are actually coming down in price. Samsung makes one (it uses TLC, which is slower and doesn't have the life of a SLC or MLC drive). OCZ also makes one. The prices start at around 600 for the Samsung, and go up from there. All in all, SSD drive prices are coming down to a very reasonable…
