I believe you’re correct. Messrs. is the plural of Mr. Borrowed from the French, because we never got around to ironing out the particulars of some of our words. I can see someone not familiar with an old French plural giving “Mrs.” a stab. Thank goodness he didn’t shove a desperate apostrophe in there.

God gave me two hands for a reason.

Now playing

Pai wins, but only because Mnunchin resembles Income Inequality dressed up as John Oliver for Halloween (and John Oliver is less punchable than Pai by a lot).

This meme is so pervasive that even my extremely liberal coworker, Trump-hating coworker was initially disbelieving when I told her that contrary to what Trump repeated over and over again, Obama said Merry Christmas every. Fucking. Year.

My sister and her girlfriend can, as of about an hour ago, be more accurately referred to as my sister and her fiancée! Barf on that, Trump and Haters!

The stupidity behind the belief that “Happy Holidays” was some PC liberal creation to undermine Christmas is staggering, even by right wing nut job standards.

The whole “Merry Christmas” debacle is a perfect illustration of how sociopolitical discourse has degenerated in the United States.

Who are @foxandfrlends?

Since he only mentions Steve Mnuchin and Donald in the articles; it’s more likely that he was attempting the plural of Mr.

I can get where he’s coming from. Oliver seems to have done a lot in improving the image and accessibility of single subject Current Affairs programming in the US but that interview he didn’t really get Hoffman to say anything but the story was “interviewer asked a hard question” that really to be honest wasn’t that

One thing that really pissed me off about the news reporting on this story (although I don’t see it in the links here) was the inclusion of the line “Although he was home at the time, Mr. Mnuchin was never in any danger, the Secret Service said.”

Much like Dr. Strong, whoever put this together is the Christmas hero America needs.

From Strong’s tweet: “This is gonna go down in the anals of history”

That was an amazingly candid interview. I truly wish that this administration would live up to their promise of plainspokenness by conducting all their interviews that way.

Everytime I hear some GOP politician start a sentence with “The American People want...,” inevitable what comes next is precisely nobody but the GOP and their donors actually want.

TBF joining a family that once colonized so much of Asia & Africa and continues to live off those riches was always going to be a difficult affair.

I did not say ‘back to the colonies.’ I said ‘you should remember the colonies. Back in the days of the colonies, there were rules that were very good.’

Bobby before this review I had no interest in seeing this movie, now it’s the only thing I want to do in the world
