For real. I don’t know which aspect was the worst — the direct line between Washington and Trump. The normalization of his presidency by focusing on what he has in common with his predecessors. The recitation of an oath that he has no interest in keeping. The inspirational music underneath it all.

I choose to believe this is a thinly veiled FU.

Ugh. They have Washington talk about how he took an oath, 35 words, that every other president has now sworn. And then Trump speaks the oath of office and my soul started to wither, so I stopped watching.

I know. I understand logically why he has to be, but it also makes me sick to my stomach. He might be eligible, but he’s not worthy.

You gotta admit, though, they nailed his fucking awful suits. Boxy jackets, shapeless pants hiked up over his gut, and that fucking tie four inches past his belt.

It still really fucking distresses me that Trump is forever going to be memorialized in the Hall of Presidents. That’s a petty and small thing compared to all of the other horrors that he’s inflicted on us in the past 11 months, yet it still cuts me deeply.

Among the many things about our current political climate that make we want to scream into a pillow until I pass out is the absolute obsession these dumb shits have with wasting time and money trying to criminalize abortion.

IF he thinks he can win, and he can STOP groping women on the campaign trail then maybe he should run again. He was a good politician, but a garbage human being. The voters at least have the information now and can make a decision. But I dont think that is a good idea or in anyone’s best interest. Let someone else…

Quite a few Minnesotans don’t want him to resign either. (I’m not one of them.) While I can’t bring myself to virulent hatred, I think losing his job is entirely appropriate.
