Disagree. Underpowered by today's standards, absolutely. But it's unique, interesting, and as far as I'm concerned... cool. You don't see many of them on the roads, because I'm sure most are garaged now, because that will be a real collectible in the years to come!

They should've just sold it as the A8. Unfortunately it also suffers from the classic VW unreliability, only the already high costs are just amplified even more. That shit never happens on any Lexus LS/Celsior.

If you're gonna try a "luxury" VW, try not to make it look like a long wheel base Passat.

I see no reason why this couldn't see production... except the rear window. Put some actual wheels under it, get rid of the 8 stupid exhausts and sell it for $400k.

Isn't that weird? Wide, low, bulbous rear quarters, in-cut door sills that carve squarely into the roof, the absence of a rear window and those TOP-MOUNTED FUEL CAPS. There's not enough baby oil in the world.
