@vestaxwax: You got it. They've tapped into the assumptions of the Average Joe - it's always higher quality if it costs more.

@darth_vato: Yeah, there's smart people out there...I'm just pissed at the people who sell stuff like that.

@Arken: Exactly, and then they stick it willy-nilly in their bedrooms or living rooms.

@RigAudio: Also, there's nothing that vinyl can do that a 48khz 24-bit recording run through some distortion can't do.

How about the placebo effect? Get them some gold-plated power sockets, tell them that it'll bring tons of clarity to their music, and watch as they fall over themselves extolling the virtues of said sockets.

@DeadCowboy: It's all novelty and nostalgia at work there. There's nothing mono brings that two speakers can't do better.

@sansa: I know, right? I don't understand why anti-aliasing is so darn awful on consoles.

I bought one of those Razer things (actually a Belkin n52TE) a couple years ago. I used it twice and got sick of it.

@Phrosty: That poor, poor kid.

Just bought all the Deus Ex games for 3 bucks. :D

I grew up in a carpenters house, where these tools were always available. I never realized how lucky I had it until I moved out and had furniture to assemble. D:

There's something to be said for freeballing.

@MrGOH: Then surely you must recognize "Ah yes, 'Reapers.'"

@Teburninator: Yes sir. I woke up, played ME2, then went to sleep for many days. :D

Thanks for taking up an entire week of my life with Mass Effect 2.
