I'm rather fond of slower tempos. Besides, most of the sfx in ME3 is rhythmically created at 120 BPM, so I found this worked best.

I loved ME3. I didn't know I was supposed to hate it until The Internet made its opinion known. But whatever, we got some sweet Reaper sounds out of it.

Yeah, I agree. I just like basses that sound like they want to eat you, no matter the tempo.

Hah, thanks for the mention, guys!

I'm pretty sure the larger nib is to compensate for the smooth surface of the iPad. If it was smaller, there'd be less friction, and it just wouldn't feel right to use.

The same thing happened in the music industry - cheap software gave professional tools to every bedroom producer. However, the tool is only as good as how you use it. Everyone knows bad music when they hear it and they gravitate to the professionals for the good stuff.

Check out the tutorials at www.sourcefilmmaker.com to get started. They're quite helpful.

Any love for the Canadian side of things? :C

I thought that Windows was built on reverse-compatibility. It's a shame that I and so many others will be left behind. On the other hand, I'll be upgrading to a phone with a front-facing camera next year anyway...might as well be a WP8 phone.

Well, if there's one thing Microsoft is used to, it's malware. I'm sure there will be some sorts of firewalls.

Hooray, scaleable live tiles.

Oh, that's handy.

Multi-core support? Larger screens? SD support? So far it's underwhelming. The shared-core thing looks interesting, but I'm not knowledgeable about code enough to know if it's awesome or not.

DAYZ. All the time. It's awesome.

Virginia servers have two different time zones: GMT -4 and GMT +4. If you're in the states and it's night where you are, go to a +4 server. You'll get daylight with low ping.

Hey, I'd certainly spend millions of dollars to do that in the most remote location on earth.
