I’ve always said this. People should be forced to learn to ride a motorcycle AND drive a manual before they get a regular license.

100%. Riding a motorcycle helps a lot with this. I considered myself a good driver and very situationally aware before I learned to ride, but when you take the mindset of “everything around you might kill you”,  it really amplifies awareness, and all of that translates into your mindset when driving a car as well.

I did use winter tires for several years on my Prelude and it definitely helped. Of the cars I’ve owned, all FWD, that one was the worst in the snow for some reason. Yeah because God forbid someone whowas previously behind you gets to their destination faster than you. Lane splitting eases congestion on the highway, you should be thanking motorcyclists for doing this. Of course this guy is an asshat, but not because he was splitting.

Some days I regret getting my 2013 ZX6R over the FZ-09. I also like the 07 with a slip on. I really am a bigger Naked bike fan, but I just couldn’t make up my mind.

Buddy of mine has an FZ-09. I used to ride (Ninja 250), then got out of it for a few years after moving west. Just took my rider’s course to freshen up my skills (still have my license), and hoping to get back on a bike by the end of the summer! (too damn hot in Phoenix in July).
