That front fender gap under the sheet looks like a good 6", and is way more gap than appears at the rear. Perhaps this car doesn't have an engine?

I was hoping someone would post up the kappa twins! So much bang for the buck (in Manual GXP/Redline form) its ridiculous. More people should take note so it keeps my resale value high.

I could be wrong but I think I remember before boarding the puddle jumper from Oahu to the Big Island they made you stand on a scale with your bags to make sure your combined weight didn't exceed some limit like 250lbs, over which you had to pay for another seat.

It's a pun combining lumen (measure of light output) with laminar since it is both a light and an intake...

I need to befriend this guy before the zombie apocalypse happens...

I think you are absolutely right, I was trying to think of a better example since I have heard of cases where the gear ratios are specifically chosen to allow 62 to come before the 2-3 shift but I was too lazy to dig deeper.

That sucks, but I guess it keeps you from doing damage if you drive around with the handbrake on. On my GM car the cable is linked to a small hydraulic actuator that operates the brake on that caliper the same as if you had pressed the pedal (minus the power assist). The handbrake stays in adjustment if you use it

On some cars where the handbrake is linked to a rear brake caliper you may have to do a caliper reset which is simply just removing the caliper then screwing the in the pistons all the way to reset the starting position. I had to do this on my Solstice when I got it since the handle went all the way up and did

Yeah I already thought most publications list the 0-60 and 5-60 (rolling start) times. Gaming the system is when you pick a gear ratio that just gets you to 62mph(100kph) at the top of second so you don't lose time on the 2-3 shift. This is the reason why the 2009 WRX (5-speed manual) was faster 0-60 than that years

The cars in your case are definitely cutting in line, they are occupying a space that you could be using. The motorcycle is using a space you cannot use, this is the same reason that a bicycle in a bicycle lane is not contributing to your traffic. My assertion that I am not contributing to traffic is backed by scientif

As a motorcyclist I do not expect to be treated with the respect and rights of a full-size automobile (even though I am legally entitled to those same rights). I ride like I am invisible because that is the reality of the situation, exacerbated by people who think that motorcyclists are actually contributing to

I commute in the bay area as well, only over the dumbarton bridge. Just like you, some days I do, and sometimes I listen to the little voice that tells me not to. Lanesplitting is an impossible thing to describe to someone who has never been on a motorcycle in a high-traffic area like the bay, or even some riders who

Firstly the driving/riding on the shoulder is illegal. Even if it was not, the shoulder is covered with debris, ask any CHP moto officer who spends time parked on the shoulder how often they get flats, it is close to a weekly occurence. In all honesty the shoulder may be safer in cases where you are splitting along

I was too tall for an NB Miata when I test drove one. My Solstice fits me fine but the low windshield frame means sometimes I have to slouch to see signal lights. The S2000 was also fine for headroom but the cockpit was pretty snug overall.

On/off switch for automatic rev-matching.

Not just FWD cars, my Solstice loves its little 2.0 LNF engine. And I get 34+mpg on the highway. The Mazda 2.3 DISI is another direct injected turbo motor that is not bad, known for zoom zoom boom if you boost at low rpm or get a bad tune though... I just think the Ecoboost made it because it is changing the truck

I understand your point of view completely. There are many times I do not split because of safety, and many times I do split because of safety. Whether I am legally right or wrong means nothing if I am dead so I exercise my best judgement based on existing conditions, my awareness level, and the condition of my

But what if a car tries to switch lanes? If the car does his part and signals and checks that he can do so safely, and the motorcycle does his part and splits at a reasonable speed then it is a non-issue.

Haven't we been here before?

Glad that doesn't happen in my car, the recommended pressure is 32 and when I bought it they were at 26 and still no light. I check my pressure regularly and I have never seen a light.
