Nope, I like it too! But I don't know if I would want to live with it on a daily basis...

Earlier this morning I read this and chuckled, earlier.

^This. I keep a good (read: more expensive) set of jumper cables in my car and I can't tell you how many times mine work perfectly while the other person's $5 walmart special cables that have been plugged in for the last 30 minutes didn't do a damn thing.

What about ecoboost? I rather like that little leaf that means you are a simple tune away from much more power...

Well the one in your picture is a Sky Redline, 260hp/260tq ~2900lbs, Bilstein suspension. I think that qualifies as a sports car, especially if it is a manual. I would even consider the base model a pretty sporty car. Though take my opinion with a grain of salt since I have this cars sister, a Solstice GXP with a

Aside from the fact that the limiting factor in this case and most cases is the rider's skill level, with proper instruction a cruiser with a low center of gravity can usually stop as fast or faster than a sportbike that is prone to transferring weight to it's front wheel.

How much stuff broke on the landing? Curious because I have a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 as well.

WHAT I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE WIND NOISE!?! Oh hey that's much better, just rolling the windows up allows me to hear music or carry on a conversation.

I forgot to include that I also test drove a Cooper S (too small/slow unless on a really tight road), WRX (used ones all beat on, new ones had bad interior and build quality) so they weren't all RWD. The reason the Mazdaspeed won out was: Praticality of the hatchback, very good interior quality, reliability

I was in the same situation two years ago, balancing sporty with praticality with reliability. After test driving lots of cars (350Z, G35 Sedan, GTO, Mustang GT, S2000, GTI, etc...) I settled on a hardly used Gen1 Mazdaspeed 3. The car has been great and 100% reliable so far, but there are certainly compromises.

I lived on that stretch of 880 between Mission and Stevenson Blvd in Fremont for the last 3 years. Traffic in that section, especially on the weekends, always goes about 45-50 for some inexplicable reason. My usual tactic was the same as this Mini, move to the free right lanes and continue along at ~10 mph faster

your* sorry couldn't resist :p I am in agreement that it is an incredibly stupid and irresponsible thing to do and am in no way condoning this behavior. Especially since I am a motorcyclist myself and this reflects very poorly on all of us. I was addressing the OP, who in order to be in striking distance of

Glad someone else noticed it, the original tail lights incorporate the exhaust vents for the rear differential cooler. Nothing like $2800 for form over function eh?

Sir, I salute you. I live 15 minutes south on 880 from where the Oakland hoonage happened, and when I saw it on the news I was disappointed I missed the show. Would I do it? Nope, besides, fwd burnouts are way less cool. There is a common occurrence on 880 however that needs to be addressed. There exists group of

Was it a total asshat move? Yes of course. But you are calling them selfish, while at the same time saying that if they attempted to add 5 minutes (and I think that is an overestimation) to your travel time you would run them over. Their lives are worth less than 5 minutes of you time? I think it is time you
