Meanwhile the dude who must drive this vehicle on a daily basis to put bread on the table hates it.

This sounds more like a old man trying to get his name in the news cycle than anything else.

I’m not the target demographic for his vehicles but I do appreciate his work. Now, if he would turn his attention to old Toyota Land Cruisers...

The first image with the men looking under the truck makes me think they’re trying to see if it ate the missing Prius from the Toyota display.

I got it. Then again I was force fed old movies as a kid.

There is a dumpster fire joke to be made from this, I just know it!

This makes me sad because in 2000 I rode one of these from London to Paris. To cruise along at 300 KPH with so little apparent effort was sublime. It was the trip of a lifetime.

I remember a time when we as a people could go for a run without a electronic blabber mouth nanny attached to us.

I think they were talking to my dad. In 1978 his car was wrecked and he had to use a rental for a couple of weeks while it was in the shop. What he rented was a white 1977/78 Mercury Cougar (this thing’s corporate cousin) with red velour interior. It was huge and gaudy compared to the Oldsmobile he had. My four year

Maybe *Stop Pestering Your Kids About Their Day* would have been a better title? I always ask my kids about their day. If I get a “Meh” or “It’s was okay.” I’m fine with that. If I know they were concerned about a test or they are having trouble with a kid in their class or a teacher I’ll ask about those things. If I

I think it is cool car. I’m glad you have it. How does Otto like it?

Same here.

I was in traffic with one of these a couple of weeks ago. It was the first and only time seeing one in the wild. Unless you really look while they are in motion it is hard to see the seam for the rear door. It was beautiful in person.

I like that too. I guess people tend to look for monochrome color schemes in cards. It worked to your advantage.

Dammit. I had promised myself I’d stay off CL today.

Ice. Storm. No snow.

It was all ice. No snow at all. And I was in a car I had never driven before.

My dad’s 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis identical to this. I borrowed it to drive from Atlanta to Tulsa with my wife and German Shepherd. A ice storm hit Tennessee the night before we left on the trip, unbeknownst to us. From Smyrna to Dixon Tennessee my ass was puckered. Not fun, people.

It’s across the boarder by now. On to the next.

I often forget such things when out of town visiting family. Actually, I tend to flake out for various periods of time when visiting family. I think it is a self defense mechanism.
