When I was much younger I wanted a convertible. I thought it would be a spectacular thing to own. Then I rode around in one with a friend for a couple of days. After that I had had enough. It was summer so the a/c was not able to keep up with the heat creeping in from everywhere. It was loud: Wind noise is very much a

Okay. Sure. Fine. Put it in a drag race against a Dodge Hellcat to prove a point, Jaguar, or STHU.

They dropped this into the Rotsun. While it worked it was bonkers.

Wasn’t there a Jalopnik writer that owned one of these for a while, always wore shorts & flip-flops and was not Doug Demuro?

Throw a supercharger on it to squeeze out 425 HP, paint it a pearly black, call it a Grand National.

Umm...Aren’t they based on the Nissan Titan platform? If so that would explain the ratios that bother you so. It simply comes down to using a existing platform, that has long since paid for itself, to make these vans. And from what I see of them on the road they are fairly popular.

This is a sad sight. It’s so far gone you would have to recreate most of the car in order to *restore* it.

Thank you for posting this. Congratulations on your sobriety. I know its a daily struggle.

Agreed. It’s best to maintain that mindset and remain safe. I heard a veterinarian tell my mom one time that if she (my mom) was mouse-sized her cat would not think twice about killing her.

Exactly. Nothing wrong was done here. It could be mamma bear was protecting her cub which was out of sight the whole time.

My guess is that it is a Chevy Suburban.

True dat. We have a 2009 that will do 80 MPH with the ease of a luxury sedan. And that is with all four of us and luggage for a weeks vacation.
