Blasphemy time!: I would snap this up for $2K if it wasn’t rusted to death. If it turns out it needs more than a head gasket to solve the problem I would have to weigh the cost or pulling the I6 for a rebuild or swapping it for a 4.7 V8 out of a Tacoma, which Toyota did in 1997 anyway.

Where is *around here*?

To my eyes the screen is a liability and is grotesque.

You could put those wheels on a Lada and make it look badass.

This is eleven paragraphs designed to pick a fight.

Until now I had never heard of this person.

You sound like you have low blood sugar.

I am shocked.

The only Nissan I care about at present is the GT-R. But let’s be honest: One will never see the inside of my garage. I’m okay with that. But what does bother me is why have they kept making what is fundamentally the same car since the early 2000s? It’s cool for Porsche to do that kind of thing but not you, Nissan.

Yez.

Perhaps their concern is you will obstruct the vision of the other drivers when you release a cloud of smoke thus causing a accident. I’m just playing Devil’s Advocate. I have nothing at stake here.

You would save a lot of money if you dropped a V8 into a old Miata. Plus you would not look like a fool on the track.

Having one of these as a sleeper would be fun. But I have no idea about the headaches involved with such a tight engine compartment and the transversely mounted options that could be wedged in there.

I think my bowels would have loosened a tad.

The government should sell it via online auction and ship it to the home country of the winner bidder. Even if it goes for half its market price US$700,000 is a considerable sum to add to the government coffers.

It weighs 5,200 pounds. It wallows when taking turns at any speed. The leopard print nonsense can be removed but it will forever stain the karma of the vehicle. The only saving grace it has is the 460CI engine: It is pre-malaise so it should have to power. But that power is oppressed by all the weight. CP.

This is the kind of madness I can get behind. As a plus it would not be difficult to incorporate many of these ideas into your own off road project.

We did this. After my wife was in a accident that totalled her beloved blue Toyota Highlander we searched for something that would be just as good, but a bit bigger, in a SUV package. We did not find anything we liked in the price range we established. So with money and time (we had a rental we were about to have to

I feel bad for the former 2.0 TDI owners. The MPGs and torque were appealing as hell to me. I would have found myself in one if circumstances were different a few years ago. I would have traded mine for cash too because of the unknown: What would the emissions compliant tuning do to the car? And who in their right

You see...I’ve always suspected there was some fun to be had from a Yaris. I think with some suspension and frame enhancements these could be made as fun as a Mazda 2.
