Righteous. If it is a used car I’ll take my time and find a car another time at another dealership. If it is a new car, like you say in your second comment, I’ll give them a chance to honor their emailed price. If they do then I’ll buy the car and have it serviced at the other XYZ dealership a few miles away.

I agree with skeffles. If they jack you around about the price imagine what they are concealing about the condition of the car. A snake is a snake from its head to the tail.

The R63 is a Chrysler Pacifica that some poor German engineers tried to make interesting. What they did was turn it into a hotrod that will nickle and dime you so bad you’ll condemn your grandchildern to living on governemt assistance. Stay away. There are better options out there.

1) The two car garage does not lend itself to a third (project) car. 2) Not enough time to spend wrenching on the project car to bring it back from the dead. 3) I don’t have any buddies close by to help with the cumbersome PITA tasks. 4) I know how to jumpstart a car (and bumpstart one too) so that makes me the go-to

I wish I was mature enough to keep the following to myself: This is dumb. This is stupid. This is ridiculous. All this thing is good for is pissing contests at the local drag strip. I’d take a Scat Pack Challenger over this thing any day.

Keep in mind this is the same guy that pulled a belly landing on Star Killer Base in the MF. #scruffylooking

I hope Peterson Auto Museum has already called dibs on the FF car because this will be the only working model we’ll see before they close their doors.

I travel 15 miles each way each day. On a good day it takes me 45 minutes to go one way. On a bad day it take a hour and a half. I’ve done this commute for ten years and really don’t like it. I’m hoping after this summer I’ll be in a better position to change careers in order to get a good bump in pay and hopefully

Serious question: Why have you decided to try to rebuild the mechanical and electrical of the CJ-2A? Would it not be cheaper and easier to install a more modern Jeep four banger set up?

Knowing what WE (Jalopnik readers/gearheads) know why would anyone own a Audi out of warranty?

That’s one way to rid the underside of road salt accrued over the winter.

Agreed.

I’m 100% with you about the Buick.

So you are saying “Hey, retard, they ARE mid engined.”? That’s not very nice. You’re words are bad and you should feel bad.

You could do something like it that more affordable and still plenty of fun. The idea of driving rally style from the Cancun in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico to Juneau, Alaska sounds like it would me a blast. You could do it solo or with some friends.

Two Porsche employees just ran into the restroom in Stuttgart after seeing this. One is vomiting. The other is flogging the dolphin.

Patrick,

Ever since this era it’s gone downhill.

My boy is 9 and is not a car enthusiast. I’ve tried. I really have. I promise. With that in mind this car may make for a really nice and reliable first car for him. But that will depend on depreciation in the next seven years.
