If you drop $189,000 on a freaking Acura you need help.

Once again I say that you have hit your head too many times on the underside of a open hood. But that’s what we enjoy about you. :)

I had a white ‘76 Olds Cutlass Supreme in ‘89-’90. It had great torque but was a turd thanks to early malaise era restrictions. The doors were the worst part: They sagged at the hinges due to how freaking heavy they are. That made it to the latch would hit the pin, scraping a gouge into it. You’d have to lift the door

(((HUG))) I understand. I used to own one. I have the feels too.

I had one about 20 years ago. I wish she had been a long term keeper. Turbo lag never felt so good.

I see a dozen ways the cage can splinter and impale the occupants.

Decoy noises? Maybe they hear the whirring of a/c compressors while engineers work at night out of secrecy and to not fry the grid with the amount of current they draw?

For those of you that say these things are “too expensive” or “too complicated” you need to look at modern day cars. Those are just as bad if not worse than this car to repair out of pocket. The W124 sold well, are built to outlast anything else from their generation. I’d be happy to own one, even with a dent here or

You are far more patient than I would be. Then again I’m not turning your experience into a money making endeavor.

God, help me. The V6 package is so d@mn appealing. The V8 would kill me, of that I’m sure.

No clue. When I was growing up we’d throw a dead dog or a lose horse leg on the track to slow them down.

I put it to you that the insane ones are those thay buy these second hand without a warranty. It does suck that they will not ship their quicker sheet metal over here. Maybe they fear the US will pick it apart like their 1.8 diesel.

Doug Lockwood, tonight I toast you.

Probably having a hell of a time. Or scared poopless because the throttle got stuck.

Kids race these things. That one is built for a little guy.

It looks too much like a Dino. Crack Pipe.

I agree that the first generation TC is better looking than what followed. I’ve always liked how it has a bit of the Nissan GTR about it from some angles.

I want my robot car to be a freaking boy scout, not a twitchy middle-aged man who’s late to his prostate exam.

Good gawd. What would such a thing look like?
