NP: It looks like it could be fun. But if you were going to drop a GM product under the hood why not a 4.3 V6 Vortec? I think it would have been less expensive and easier to modify in time.

I think it is a good price for a well taken care of example from the time. But it is not the one I would buy. I would buy one to swap out all the mechanicals and upgrade the steering and suspension. You can turn one into nice light weight muscle car for not a ton of cash.
