I've driven my 12C in the rain - at full downpour and was fine. I'm trying to understand what happened here... other than he was driving pretty fast for the conditions?

I have to agree with you about the video... at first I was nonplussed. Then I read the specs. Then I saw the video. Then I saw it in Chicane Gray. I was bowled over.

I think its a mistake. The new NSX looks better. I've grown to love Audis as I owned a 2001 S4, 2004 A4, 2004 A8, and now a 2008 RS4. I always thought the original R8 with its sideblades were groundbreaking. The sideblade was the thing that set it apart and gave it a uniqueness that was lacking from the market.

As a tried and true Audi fan... I'm entirely dissatisfied if this is the car. Who would want to tie a design for the TT. The R8 should be setting the standard. The sideblade was a wonderful thing - unique to the R8. Why get rid of it?

Great article. I used to love watching CART. I remember watching all the races as a kid and being transfixed by what I thought were beautiful big race cars. They were the big daddies of the open wheel world. Before the globalization and instant gratification of our media nowadays, F1 seemed a world away.

Yeah.. it is. Don't get me wrong - I love driving the McLaren and it's a great everyday supercar. But the purity of the NSX is startling. McLaren is very digital - you can tell there's a computer underneath frantically working to predict your thoughts and put them into performance. Like anything it works 99% of

Great article. I love the NSX so much, I have two 1991 cars - which to me are the ones to have: manual steering, coupe for rigidity. One has only 14k miles and is completely stock. The other has 91k miles and is being rebuilt from the groundup as we speak. As an owner of a McLaren 12C, I can honestly say that I

Agree.. Acura messed up big time. Even worse, they didn't provide any specs. I'm really disappointed in Acura.. and I'm a big NSX fanboy - I own 2 1991 NSXs. So... thanks Acura for messing that up.

We can't hold the writers of the posts to higher standards? Why do I need to look in the mirror?

I never said it should be. I'm saying that blogs like this one actually are in a great position to overtake traditional media. Their reach is expanding. Their readers more diverse. Their influence increasing. Why can't we expect more? I think a great blog can appeal to people like you and me without resorting to

Thank you for defining the English language to me. I'm pretty sure I understand what hyperbole means. I'm pretty sure the condescension in your response tells me that you can't argue what I've said. Which is sad, because I actually like your blog posts about cars to buy. I like your blog because I myself am always

I know the trend is to grab people's attention on facebook by posting... the most insanely, awesome, out of this world, you can believe what I saw, fucking insane, coolest, better than a Miura... post title... but this is ridiculous. An R8 is a well designed, unique car. It is not as "insanely gorgeous" as you might

NSX. Pure mechanical car with a midengine and high revving V6. I actually love driving it more than the 12C.

It was about 2 years ago... but as is the case on the internet, it was refreshed as something new by a site about 6 months ago. Not only was it not his fault, but the driver tracks his cars constantly and is a good driver.

Thank you for a refreshing perspective. Whenever a supercar/exotic/sportscar owner gets into an accident, the first knee-jerk reaction from the internet is... dumbass shouldn't drive expensive cars.. or money doesn't equal driving skills.

The issue is really that Cadillac needs to better understand a luxury consumer. I recently rented a CTS on a drive and the first thing that annoyed me was the infotainment system. Within seconds. 2 reasons:

Thanks. I have an addiction. I prefer cars over housing, food, and clothes.

Nope.. My first name is Richard. H is the first initial of my last name... and there is a lot of RichH's... so I ended up with RichH1. I am not absurdly rich by any means... just trained 14 years after college to become a cardiac surgeon. So I try to be astute about picking cars and waiting for a good value to

I've bought all of my past and current cars used - S4, A8, RS4, NSX, C63 Black Series and even my 12C. I saved almost 35% on a 6 month old 3k miles 12C by waiting a little. Even if you are meticulous - and I bet that I'm just as or even more than you are - it matters about 0.05% of the time. Modern cars are so

Great post. Probably the most accurate article I've read. As a purveyor of all unusual cars (my saved Autotrader and Ebay searches range from Integra Type R to NSX to 964 911 Turbo to and e30 M3), I've spent an abnormal and pathologic amount of time perusing Rennlist, NSXPrime...etc. And you're right.
