With all due respect to Al Franken, CIQ is just one company that makes software for the Carriers. It is the Carriers that put this spyware out there for their benefit. If you want to go after anyone Al, go after Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and the like.

Not so fast. Check your Verizon phone and see if you have something called KPI Logger on there. It is on my Motorola Android 2 which runs on Verizon. KPI stands for Key Performance Indicator, and guess what.... Spyware. To check, you have to see all running processes, not just the active ones at this moment.
