Which is the exact reason I keep stating that account locked steam games are not the same thing as account locked games on xbox.

The difference is that Steam has competition. If Origin ever became a viable and usable solution that offered a better service than Steam, gamers would eventually move there. If XBL proves not to be a viable system, what choice do gamers have?
