One of my favorite breastfeeding stories involved my sister-in-law, who was with a group of fellow new mothers sat outside a Starbucks, taking the opportunity for a chat, a coffee and a chance to feed their hungry babies.

I'm not surprised that the barista is a teenager. I'm really happy with this new bunch of teenagers coming up. The ones I know are really brave and stand up for other people who need help. I know it's fashionable to rag on the younger folks, but I won't, because I think they're great.

Tweaker baby. Heh. For what it's worth, pregnant women are advised to limit caffeine in the first trimester because a lot of it might (might) increase risk of miscarriage. I don't think there's any real issue about drinking it while breastfeeding.

I love that not only did he apologize to her for having to deal with that woman's bullshit, he did the humane thing and gave the new mom more caffeine. That dude needs a raise.

Despite the boys' rampant dipshittery, "over 30 state representatives, senators, and current and former statewide elected officials visited the boys," according to BOR.

Because a punitive model for prison has not been proven to deter crime. In fact, it seems to encourage it: the current model we use in the United States for incarceration actually increases the likelihood of an inmate committing a crime that will return them to prison. The modern American prison has become a criminal

I love the idea that humiliating and degrading already troubled people (many of whom have mental problems) for years and then releasing big them back into society will somehow...better...society. Yes , good idea. What could go wrong?

awesome, great to know. thank you!

Do you fly a confederate flag? Then it's not about you. But thanks for leading the #notallwhitepeople brigade. Don't you have an article about babies dying in hot cars to rant on somewhere?

"People get so butthurt when I wear a little irreverent blackface or call a girl a dyke because she wouldn't give me a hand job. It's not my fault people have thin skins and no sense of humor! Of course, sometimes stereotypes can be cruel and hurtful. Like when people assume I play lacrosse just because I'm a rich

Can you really even say that she's making fun of "white people" with that photo? I'm white and (1) I know exactly what she's making fun of, and (2) it doesn't offend me at all. Quite the opposite — I feel a kinship with her in her disdain for wealthy, privileged high school kids who act like they own the world.

I was thinking this too. It seems she is making fun of a very specific subset of white people. And if my white ass dressed up like a hockey bro and posted that on twitter no one would give a flying fuck. But a black girl not taking white guys seriously, NOPE

Since when is "douchebag lax bro" a race?

Reading these comments is so telling. I didn't realize how many ignorant people there were around here who just could not wait to cry reverse racism.

Wake me up when black people can systematically disenfranchise whites of voting rights, the ability to work, the ability to go out, or get a decent education.

REVERSE RACISM!!

"What if people were running around in KKK costumes?" asked David, who said his friends complained to the administration about the "Black Power" photo. "That's what I call left-wing extremism."

Not really related but, a friend and I concluded Michelle would never get elected to public office because she is too real. Like when she went off on that white woman who tried to check her at a rally she spoke at. And when ever she and barack are in a joint interview if they start saying some crazy shit to him, she

"Mail-order shoppers and Internet users, for example, were likelier than some other members to use more emergency services."

You may find a doctor who has a different opinion: if a woman wishes to get pregnant, she can get the IUD removed and then attempt to conceive.
