This is something I agree strongly with - that parents should take time to make themselves and their health a priority. But what if that, for them, means taking time to relax? Taking an hour to sit and read and give themselves a break rather than an hour to work out?

Not to mention, the young children need 11-12 hours of sleep so probably aren't going to bed much later than 7 or 8. This is my biggest obstacle to working out - somebody needs to be home to feed the toddler, bathe him, get him in his jammies, and put him to bed no later than 7:30 (after which I start on

IIRC, she and her husband (?) own a few nursing homes. Which could mean anything from "they put up the money and now get a cut of the profits" to actually being on-site every day. But yeah, my impression was certainly that it was something pretty flexible, not one where you're expected to be in a cubicle from 9am to

Yep. The first year my husband and I really lived together (we were engaged but not planning the wedding yet) was a ROUGH one (to be fair, we had almost no money and both of our careers were at turning points). We almost split a few times. But we learned a lot about what it meant to share a household and bills and

Sigh.

Are you fucking kidding me. The kid is a "relentless, manipulative little sociopath"? "Scary"? Good grief.

I liked the storyline in Divergent but didn't think the author wrote it very well. The first book was decent, but the second two were pretty slow, which is strange because there is good stuff happening but the author doesn't draw me in. I didn't hate the ending the way some fans did, but it wasn't groundbreaking for

LOL RUFK?

Holy crap I just burst out snickering at my desk when I saw this. My co-workers probably think I'm nuts.

Ugh, I used to be a size 6 in college (8 years ago) but did zero physical activity (I worked PT as a waitress, so I did a lot of walking there, but I was also sneaking bites of garlic bread and having pasta with buttery sauces for dinner most work nights). I did nothing to work out, I ate crap food from the dining

I also don't think they're created by running...

I can't imagine anyone suspecting their child would walk into a school and commit mass murder of that scale. But even if the child was troubled enough to potentially harm only himself or herself, wouldn't you make damn sure he or she didn't have such incredibly easy access to weapons?

but I've gotten my day face down to a science.

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen this photo from IMDB:

Nah. I'm a parent, I don't say this either, but I wasn't offended because if we don't say those things, MoGlo isn't talking to us.

Hear, hear! I love Mellie.

I'm like "THEY INCLUDE YOU IN THIS!"

LOL @ all the people misinterpreting your post.

*Raises hand* not a one-night stand, exactly, but it was definitely meant as a rebound fling to get over the three-year relationship I had just ended.
