Cardinals Manager Mike Shildt enjoyed it too!

As far a Guy sightings goes, J.D. Drew makes an appearance!

Did you guys enjoy John Lackey getting himself ejected mid play during Cards-Cubs this afternoon?

Edmonds in KC for Anaheim, probably? but when you say “Jim Edmonds Catch” i think Edmonds in Cincinnati with the home run robbery that he was shocked by or his catch in Game 7 of the 2004 NLCS. All good stuff.

In the same way Jim Edmonds did. Overshadowed by one or two others at his position on a ballot loaded (PEDs Era or not) with other potential HOFers.

Both Edmonds and Posada never had shots at being in someone’s full 10 person ballot. Blame them both for hanging on a year or two too long, if you must, but it’s just bad

Thanks to IronMike and all the commenters he mentioned from that golden age. You guys kept me hooked. I remember the ‘explain your handle post’ and DJ Jazzy Jeff Weaver and Robot Jerry Rice had the two best explanations.

What is the one team, any sport, any time, that you would want to manage/coach? Your insertion as chief decision maker has no bearing on their results or changing the course of history.

I think it has something to do with GPS connection. I did a straight line run/walk a short distance from the city and it gobbled up the distance to hatch 2 eggs within reason of their distance, 5km & 10km. I then moved from the path toward a grassy/tree covered line along the river. I barely got any distance counted

Considering Biggio moved both up and down the defensive spectrum and played all 3 positions effectively only bolsters your point.

I believe that Derek Jeter, had he not been a Yankee, is essentially Craig Biggio.

Been on the highway all day. No sightings as I drive. Rest stops though, can be vicious hunting grounds.

2001 World Series. Diamondbacks over the Yankees. First World Series I remember staying up late to watch the end.

I will give the Blues a title in any of the franchise’s first 3 years. Since the Canadiens beat them in 1968 and 1969, I’ll give the 1969 title to the Blues. Canadiens still dominate in the ‘70's with Bowman as the coach, so hockey landscape remains mostly unchanged. That early win gives the fans the knowledge of what

Esteban Yan.

What was Ramos doing? Played Pogba and everyone onside on the knock-in.

For all the mentions of USMNT v Belgium and Torsten Frings, I venture that Varela’s header is thing I would change. Any different defensive choice or wind gust and this ball glances off Varela. Yes USMNT has two improbable wins, but it is sitting with 6 points going into the final group stage match.
