The first 30 minutes of UP are indeed really good. Brave was a movie that should be likable but the pacing and dialog is oof.

I would say it was one of the most interesting side-projects made last gen. The actual game was a bit rough around the edges, unbalanced, and lacked true depth.

Pixel looking low res block graphics were very interesting 10 years ago as a nod to the old school. But now we have Adam Sandler movies, and 800 lego games.

If that movie had come out and it would have been successful, I would have gotten no credit. The studio would have then given the franchise to J.J. Abrhams and his fucking lens flaring 90210-Trek sensibilities, so you’re welcome America.

My take is 98% based on Batman from the comics. That is, the best stories about Batman I read, the car was usually reserved for the 3rd arc or absent altogether. When I think back to my “coolest batman” moment memories, none of them involve a car.

Yeah Tina and Evan kinda go together well. Evan all decked out in J-Crew style Nantucket Summer Wear is interesting. Red pants and denim shirt? A car elevator and yacht are on the horizon.

As a life long Batman fan, I absolutely hate the Bat-car. Batman is at his best when he is NOT SITTING IN A CAR for crying out loud. The worst batman momements from the Nolan films involve nonsensical Michael Bay style car chases and rocket launchers.
