Agree 100% about his performance being worthy. While I generally lean toward not taking off-field stuff into account for HOF voting, I can’t deny I take particular pleasure over Schill’s inability to get in.

Wonder if Fox News will tell Curt to ‘stick to sports’?

Curt Schilling, a garbage human and baseball pitcher who’s on-field prowess should have guaranteed him a spot in the hall of fall, is nonetheless seemingly forever barred from that institution because he’s such an insufferable asshole that nobody wants him around at future induction ceremonies.

The thing that bums me out is that I think Schilling was a great pitcher who, on performance alone, deserves to be in the Hall of Fame (ditto Barry Bonds). Though perhaps it’s best to do a posthumous induction.

I blame Joe Torre for all of this, if he would have just had his team bunt for hits during the Bloody Sox game, this troll would have been gone by now. Fucking clueless Joe.

He's hiding behind his wife? I thought the apostle Paul told all of these nutjobs to make their wives submit to them!

Arizona doesn’t get enough shit for being West Alabama.

Since he retired from baseball, Schilling hasn’t done anything that would suggest he’d be a capable member of society, let alone Congress.

Or maybe the wealthy professional football team he plays for could figure out a way to get its hands on one for him.

Imagine being too homophobic for Utah.

The most embarrassing aspect of this is he was actually taking the League Cup seriously. It’s like getting a red card after the end of the indoor co-ed rec game.

When “keeping it Real” goes wrong.

Hate him. Listening to a Sterling broadcast is like having to sit with your somewhat senile grandfather and listen to him reminisce about ballplayers from the 1940's, and every once in a while he’ll remember there is a baseball game going on in the present in front of him that he’s supposed to be commenting on. His

Still the best.

“The number of NFL owners whose general political and social outlook has progressed past the conventional wisdom of the Arthur Administration can be counted on the fingers of one hand, even if you happen to be a lobster.”

Another one in the if the damn thing starts and moves list, it is worth the 2900.

Nearly every one of the NFL owners are bad, crooked, corrupt and downright despicable human beings. We all know about the regulars: Jerrah (his spawn Stephen is a real piece of work), Danny Boy and Johnnie Mara (all from one division btw), Pilot Jim and Ziggy Wylf (still don’t know how he’s not in jail AND he

Fuck [despised player/coach/owner] with [object that has no business being shoved into a rectum].

I get that ZM was it’s own special breed, but I honestly think this is the best collection of fan letters so far, and it’s not really close.
