He’s pretty awful defensively. At second base he was cover-your-eyes bad, at 3B it wasn’t nearly as bad but still not great. From a WAR perspective that takes away a lot of his value.

I said it and tweeted it and 2 seconds later I was typing “Well this has aged poorly” lol.
Pedroia only played 3 games this year due to injuries, so they had to do a lot of shuffling to fill in at second base. Nunez was one of the guys they had to use at second base, along with Holt. And when Holt played second Nunez sometimes played 3B.
I follow Norwich City, used to do this with Grant Holt as well.
Smoltz had just finished saying “Nunez is a very good bad ball hitter” when Wood threw a ball at his ankles and Nunez golfed it out of the park.
So this was like, a Matador with an extended wheelbase? An elderly aunt of mine had one of these Matadors for many years, I remember it being comfortable from the back seat as a kid. Distinctive-looking, to say the least.
Approx 99.79% of the car trips I make are less than 234 miles one way. About 95% are less than 50 miles.
I’m not a Kings fan, or even much of a basketball one, and that game STILL pisses me off.
Sincerely, the Sacramento Kings. Game 6 Remembers.
It’s been referenced by BB and other coaches that the limits on practices over the training camps often mean teams will get off to slow starts. I’m fine with the tradeoff and fewer hits to the head mean these players get to live better lives, but there’s a reason for it.
The played their Super Bowl in week 2 and had a let down after that.
Oh my God. Keep going, I’m almost there.
Please give me more tales of Albert Breer, Real Life Douchebag. I need them like I need oxygen.
I’m thrilled that they’re getting to the WS, of course, but I’m really really really happy for David Price in particular. You could see immense relief and emotion on his face during his post-game interview.
Yup. There it is.
Her face looks like a large apple left out to rot in the sun.
Cora was his bench coach last year in Houston, so I’m guessing he knows Bregman pretty well by now.
Shoulda taken a lesson in class from Buffalo and thrown a dildo on the field.
Hitch has at least won a championship.
Look man, I’m a Pats fan too, but they got outplayed in both of the NYG Super Bowls and I give the Giants a ton of credit for that. In the second one Weatherford kept pinning the Pats deep with beautiful punts which played a huge role in the Pats’ inability to score.
