That’s ballsy.
That’s ballsy.
RIP Bon and Malcolm. :(
Bon Scott felt that big balls were best.
Yes, Heyward-Bey. My bad.
Yes. That’s some awful decision-making and/or coaching.
On the play before the Butler INT (the Lynch run to the 1), the Seahawks had the same formation and had the WRs cross the same way they would on the next play that Butler picked. So not only did the Pats think they might use that play, they got reinforcement on the play before.
Slant duels can’t melt real teams!
Even the play before, when Hayward-Bey got tackled in bounds by Butler, was a cluster, because with the clock running it immediately sent the Steelers into full panic mode.
The NFL, for reasons unknown to me, insists on maintaining possession all the way to the ground. Extending the ball doesn’t matter. I mean, this all stems from the Calvin Johnson play, which was 10000000x more obviously a catch than this one and still ruled incomplete.
True, but I think in this case the issue is catching the ball in the first place. The ground not causing a fumble is relevant only after a player has established clear possession of the ball.
I think it is. Knee down and touched is down by contact.
Even worse was Bell getting tackled in bounds on second down, which led to the Steelers panicking and losing their minds on the next play call.
At full speed, it sure looked like he did. But once that ball moves as he hits the ground all bets are off.
Because a runner is considered to already be in possession of the ball.
Just saw this on Reddit. Ball is touching the ground.
Cross him off the list then.
Bastard will probably try to charge extra for that statue too.
Shh, you, I’m just having some fun here.
