You’ve said that twice now!

Let’s rate the top Tomlin excuses after this game:

I’m positive it’s getting changed this offseason. MISTER Rooney will request it personally.

Right? What the hell was he thinking? Throw it to row ZZ, kick the FG, go to OT.

From what I understand, the rule is that no matter where the receiver is on the field, he must maintain full possession all the way to the ground for the catch to count. So knee down there isn’t enough, by the rule. The ball moved when he hit the ground. I’m not shocked they reversed the catch.

Don’t forget Butler tackling Bell in bounds on the previous play to keep the clock running and forcing Pittsburgh to run that insanely dumb hurry up thing.

but the lack of consistency the NFL shows when trying to arbitrate plays like these is maddening.

LOL.

That was fucking amazing.

The way the Pats’ D is playing, it probably won’t matter for Pitt.

I’m fine with him resuming his MVP run next week.

Uh huh. Suuuure they were.

That statue of him outside the stadium is about to go the path that JoPa’s did.

Between Burrows attempting to bite Bergeron’s finger off and Hansen fucking spearing a guy in the groin with 5 minutes left in Game 7, the Canucks disgraced themselves in that series.

This is gonna be great. Giggity.

Sports is largely about emotional immaturity, so I say go for it.

You da real MVP. Thanks.

I should find it, there’s an old clip of Michael Waltrip being interviewed in the cart after a very card crash that split his car in two (maybe mid-90s?), and he’s clearly dazed, slurring his words, and for all appearances looks drunk or having suffered a stroke. Obviously he had a severe concussion and was likely out

I hadn’t realized Savage displayed the fencing response on that hit. How awful.

Those things were sharp. Of course they kicked the Pats’ asses like the Pats were back in those Pat Patriot unis of the back late 80s - early 90s teams, so my feelings are mixed at best.
