You’d rather they tossed Pedroia?
You’d rather they tossed Pedroia?
For both teams too. I’m a Sox fan and I can see that. The situation where Farrell got tossed was particularly egregious since the two called third strikes pretty much ruined a big Sox rally. But Wegner was brutal today all day long.
Aha! Look guys I was right! Someone tell my wife.
Normally I’d agree with you, but when the first two outs of the inning are recorded as K’s on pitches well outside the strike zone, you kind of feel that the bat has been taken out of your hands.
It was most certainly not. I’ll have to find the Pitch FX chart, it showed low and outside on that one as well.
They fucking babied him all year just to have him rested for a situation like today’s and he puked all over his shoes. I’m pretty disgusted with him.
This is why he was tossed. Because Mark Wegner was awful today.
No. He’s just an idiot.
“I’ll tell you about my mother.”
I agree. I can’t watch a big moment through the lens of a phone; I want to watch it with my own eyes and remember the moment that way.
Not only did the Sox offense finally make an appearance (with help from Reddick as noted above), but David Price was the goddamn man today. Shut down an incredible offense for four innings and got the team through the best part of the game. The guy has taken a lot of crap over the last couple of years, but he deserves…
Never forget that they’re based out of NYC (I’m pretty sure).
They’ll call it whatever it was if the pitch was reviewed. If it wasn’t a HBP and wasn’t a foul, it’s just a ball.
Come on, that’s the Rex Ryan “made it to 2 AFCCG appearances with Mark Sanchez” argument. Farrell’s pitchers have consistently shit the bed in the postseason lately, that speaks to a lack of scouting and/or preparation on the part of the coaching staff.
+1 a man, a plan, a canal, Panama
A smelly dump talking shit to diarrhea. No one wins in that circumstance.
Agreed. Can’t we just say he’s a fucking awesome player?
I thought the game was the typical Thursday night dumpster fire in execution and skill level. Pats kept stalling in the red zone, and the Bucs couldn’t complete a pass until the 4th quarter.
Brandon Saad had a hat trick in his Blackhawk re-debut
