I sort of agree with you. If it was being remade as a movie, yes, you are absolutely right. The pacing, casting, writing for the original were all just too spot-on to improve upon it in the same format.

What’s really mind boggling, last time I had to buy alcohol in KS, I had to go to a liquor store to buy the alcohol, and then go right next door to the “convenience/grocery store” run by the same owners to separately buy the sour mix. Cause you can’t sell non-alcohol at the alcohol store.
