I remember sitting on my older sister's lap, and messing around with toggles, and riding those awesome roller-coaster-like trams in Riven for hours at a time... and watching her play, switching back and forth between all the different discs... I think there were 8. Of course, neither of us ever had any idea what we

Well there's a difference between talking back, and calling your mom a bitch.

Well Hitler didn't give birth to the Jews, and feed them every day, and raise them, and take care of them. Anyway, I agree that parents should be more reasonable about regulating game-time, but parents these days are getting so incredibly lenient... and I really don't think that's a good thing, at least when it comes

Growing up, my sister's and I weren't allowed to say shut-up, or crap, or even butt. My parents thought it sounded trashy, so we had to say bottom. I'll do the same thing when I have kids, at least while they're younger that 12.

This is all I hear whenever I read that phrase.

Fletching suits me.

Counter strike is great, but I'd prefer something a little less bland.

This is off-topic... but it has to do with the direction games have been going these past couple of years.

Honestly, if your level of income is such that you can't save up, or, in the absence of extra cash, you don't have a spouse that earns enough on his own to support a family, you probably aren't ready to be having kids.

Eh. I agree that it should be illegal to demote or fire a woman for getting pregnant, but I don't agree that companies should have to offer paid maternity leave. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever to pay someone for time that they haven't earned, and during which they aren't doing any work.

I can't wait to get my own house and start screwing around with linux based control systems and all that good stuff.

no, just poorly written.

I think it's $120 for a back of two, and something like $65 for each unit, but you need two to get started, as one needs to be plugged into the router/modem.

Haven't you seen those OnStar commercials where they shut down the stolen car?

Yeah, it used to crash for me all the time, but I was always amazed by how cleanly it went about shutting down. There was never any stalling or slow-down. The game window just disappeared... and I could boot it back up in 5 seconds. Most games don't close that cleanly when you want them to.

I might just have to get this. I play a lot of solitaire while I watch movies/tv shows.... and my hand always goes cold from being propped up at an angle. Poor circulation I guess. I do just fine when I'm ACTUALLY playing games.

was that intended or is it a typo?

Well that's why I said 'a minimum wage job with less than 15 hours a week." :P

it's pretty pathetic. even a minimum wage job with less than 15 hours a week gets you at least 300 a month.
