They should focus not only on marketing more their consoles and First-party games, but they should also take advantage of their third party software, as well as IPs that aren't Mario/Zelda/Pokemon.

Metroid isn't as popular or mainstream as Mario or Pokemon, so i doubt it would sell out. There's a reason they didn't celebrate the 25th anniversary :l.

I'm sure most people already told you this, but this chart isn't about which platform is better, but the most popular ones to develop for.
